WordPress Security

Recently I came across an interesting presentation about WordPress security. As you probably know, the majority of websites run WordPress and many security issues have been discovered in the past, although most of them in WordPress plugins instead of the WordPress application itself. I think that it will be interesting to delve a little bit into this topic and do a presentation about this topic. A bit of technical background would be required since I’ll probably also share some secure programming practices.

Before actually starting the preparations for this presentation I’d like to know if is any interest in this topic. If you are interested and would like to join, please let me know by RSVP-ing as to have a good idea of how many people would be there. Depending on the interest and the size I’ll decide whether to schedule a meetup for it and where it will be held.
